Wow! My little boy is now three months old and growing so fast. We took our first Christmas photo last night and I can't wait for everyone to see the Christmas cards. He also took his first picture with Santa last night. I am looking forward to spending our first Thanksgiving holiday with him and the rest of our family. I am so thankful that God brought him into our lives and can't wait to see what He has instore for our family.
He is still working on trying to hold his head up by himself. He loves to smile at mommy and daddy. He likes to kick his feet and play with toys. We discovered this week that he enjoys to look at the pictures in books when we read them to him. We just love our little boy!

Jeremiah's First Doctor Visit
Jeremiah went for his two week checkup on Friday, August 29 and received a good report. He is now weighing 8lbs and is 18 1/2 inches long. Yes, my child gained two pounds in a week and a half. I was worried about him not eating enough, but I think he had plenty. He is such a good baby and we feel so blessed to have him in our life. He is now only getting up once each night for a feeding/changing and then goes right back to sleep.

Jeremiah Ray Adam
Well, he has arrived and taken over our life, but we wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. Jeremiah was born at 8:39 am on August 15, 2008. He weighed 6lbs and 5oz and was 18 inches long. He has a head full of dark hair and is the most handsome little boy. His daddy and I are so excited to have him home with us. We want to thank everyone for all the prayers during our pregnancy and can't wait to introduce our little one to you.

Plan of His/Her Own
Well, our little one has decided he/she wants to make an early entrance into the world, so the c-section date has been moved up to Friday, August 15. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to finish up my first week of school and have the baby on my grandmother's birthday. I totally trust my doctor and she just feels that it will be best for baby and momma to not wait much longer. I am currently on bed rest just as a precaution until our delivery date. Please keep us in your prayers as our delivery date approaches quickly.

Baby on the Way!
Well, we have scheduled a c-section for Tuesday, August 19, so the baby will be here then unless he or she has plans to come early. I know we will go in early that morning and hopefully have the baby by eight or nine o'clock. Everyone is so anxious to find out whether we are having a boy or girl. I am just ready to see the little one that has made a home inside of me for the past nine months. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday and I am sure I will have more to share at that time.

Back to Work / Robert's Birthday
Well, there is still no sign of this little one wanting to come early, so mom has to go back to work. I'll be 37 weeks on Monday and we go back to the doctor on Thursday. I figure we will set a date for the c-section at this next visit. I am a little excited about going back to work because it has been a little boring sitting around doing nothing. It's like I told Robert, I'll go back until the baby comes and then I will have another six to eight weeks off from work.
Robert's birthday is tomorrow, so we celebrated tonight since we both have to work tomorrow. I made him a chocolate cake with vanilla icing, which is his favorite. I think it would make him the proudest daddy in the world if this baby decided to come on his birthday.

Doctor Visit
We went yesterday for a routine doctor visit and she decided to order a sonogram to see how big this baby was getting. Our baby weighed around 4 pounds, has a head full of hair, and posed for us for the first time. This was the first time our sono lady has been able to get some cute pictures of the baby, so I posted them online. We are both still doing great and look at delivering between 38 and 39 weeks.
Robert and I have been working on the nursery and hope to have it completely finished this weekend. We already have the crib and changing table put together and the border on the wall. I will post some pictures of the nursery when it is complete.

Where has the time gone?
I can't believe that I'm 33 weeks now and our little one will be making his or her arrival soon. At our last doctor's appointment, we received a good report and she said I might be able to hold out until 37 weeks. Robert and I feel so blessed and we have not even met our little one yet. This baby might have some goofy parents, but it will be loved more than words can describe.

School is Out
Well, I am so glad that I was able to finish the year out. I'm now 27 weeks and still feeling great. I am starting to put on pounds and show more each week. The baby is very active now and you can actually see my belly move when the baby kicks. Robert loves that! We went to the beach last weekend with his family and it was a much needed break. I'm looking forward to actually having time to dedicate myself to completing the nursery and resting before our little one arrives.

Feeling the Kick
Wow! It's been a while since my last blog, so much has happened. I'm now 23 weeks along and feeling the baby's every move. Also, Robert is actually able to feel the baby kick at times and he is so estatic about that. We have registered at Walmart and Babiesrus for baby stuff and have decided to do the nursery in Winnie the Pooh.
We went to the doctor this week and when she said we were over halfway there, I went into panic mode. We still are working on cleaning out our extra bedroom, so we can paint it and decorate it. I will be so glad when school is out at the end of May, so I will have more time to devote to the baby.

2nd Doctor Visit
We went to our second doctor visit and everything went great. We were able to hear our child's heartbeat again and it was just as amazing as the last time. I'm ten weeks right now and can't wait until the next doctor visit. I'm still feeling great, but just real tired all the time. My only problem is I keep catching everything from my kids at school. I just got over the stomach bug and now I have a bad cold.

First Doctor Visit
Robert and I went to the first official doctor visit on Tuesday, January 8 to reassure us that we were pregnant. Our doctor was able to schedule us for an ultrasound that same day, so we could see the baby and hear the heartbeat. I think listening to the heartbeat was one of the most amazing things I've ever heard. It's amazing that a baby so small (size of a peanut) could have a heartbeat that strong. I am seven weeks and amazingly I have not been sick. I have been very sleepy and look forward to going to bed each night. I am looking forward to making it out of the first trimester!
