18 Month Check-up

He's still growing!! We went for our check up today and to put it mildly, Jeremiah was furious the whole time. We had to change our appointment to mid-afternoon and it interrupted his nap time. He weighed 18lbs and 8 oz. and 26.5 inches in length. Our doctor was pleased with how he is developing physically and developmentally, but he is going to refer him to a physical therapist to be evaluated. Once the evaluation is completed, our doctor and the therapist will decide if any therapy is needed and to what extent. I am so happy that we are done with shots until school entry! Our next well - visit will be in August when he turns 2!!

Jeremiah also got a new haircut this week and it makes him look so grown.

We were able to travel with Robert this past weekend to Florida and I took a picture of them in front of a palm tree by the church.

Snow Day - February 2010

Wow! Jeremiah is only 18 months old and it has snowed three times in his lifetime. I can remember snow being a rare event when I was in school and now it just seems normal. We did take time to go outside to play in the snow today, since Robert and I were both off from work. Jeremiah still does not like snow and could care less if it snowed again. Hopefully, one day he will learn to appreciate it and love playing in it. Here are some pictures from our day.

Jeremiah started off the morning reading a book and waiting for the snow to stop falling.

This child of mine will eat bugs off the floor, but refused to taste the snow!

Jeremiah hanging out with his buddy, dada, in the snow!

The one and only smile I captured while we were outside in the snow.

We are suppose to be heading to Florida in the morning to fill in at the church in Crestview. I pray that we will be able to go and have a safe trip. We have a busy week coming up: Jeremiah gets a haircut on Tuesday, he has his 18 month check up on Thursday, we're going to a church meeting on Friday night and Nate is having his birthday party on Saturday. Yes, we have a busy life, but I wouldn't change it for anything.
