School is Out
Well, I am so glad that I was able to finish the year out. I'm now 27 weeks and still feeling great. I am starting to put on pounds and show more each week. The baby is very active now and you can actually see my belly move when the baby kicks. Robert loves that! We went to the beach last weekend with his family and it was a much needed break. I'm looking forward to actually having time to dedicate myself to completing the nursery and resting before our little one arrives.

Feeling the Kick
Wow! It's been a while since my last blog, so much has happened. I'm now 23 weeks along and feeling the baby's every move. Also, Robert is actually able to feel the baby kick at times and he is so estatic about that. We have registered at Walmart and Babiesrus for baby stuff and have decided to do the nursery in Winnie the Pooh.
We went to the doctor this week and when she said we were over halfway there, I went into panic mode. We still are working on cleaning out our extra bedroom, so we can paint it and decorate it. I will be so glad when school is out at the end of May, so I will have more time to devote to the baby.

2nd Doctor Visit
We went to our second doctor visit and everything went great. We were able to hear our child's heartbeat again and it was just as amazing as the last time. I'm ten weeks right now and can't wait until the next doctor visit. I'm still feeling great, but just real tired all the time. My only problem is I keep catching everything from my kids at school. I just got over the stomach bug and now I have a bad cold.

First Doctor Visit
Robert and I went to the first official doctor visit on Tuesday, January 8 to reassure us that we were pregnant. Our doctor was able to schedule us for an ultrasound that same day, so we could see the baby and hear the heartbeat. I think listening to the heartbeat was one of the most amazing things I've ever heard. It's amazing that a baby so small (size of a peanut) could have a heartbeat that strong. I am seven weeks and amazingly I have not been sick. I have been very sleepy and look forward to going to bed each night. I am looking forward to making it out of the first trimester!
